"Thank you very much for the excellent instruction that I had with the D1+E; your minibus and Trailer are in excellent condition. The instructor was great; his calm manner helped me put right the errors that I had previously. He also explained to me the structure of the test and what was expected of me (this had not happened with a previous company and I was given incorrect information). The two days prior to the test were very valuable, where your instructor took me round various roads and detailed the way that I should drive -- the fact that I drive a minibus during the week had given me a lot of bad habits; these were corrected.

On the day of the day of the test we arrived in good time after an hour of instruction; the cup of tea prior to the test was great.

Thank you Wendy and team for the way you instructed me and the way you handle people. I would recommend Keith Williams and Daughters to all drivers."

"I consider myself to be a difficult student to teach (as do my former instructors), because I demand a high standard of instruction and interaction rather than just sitting down and allowing myself to be spoken at and simply criticised. Keith, did a marvelous job. The standard of driving he taught to and expected from me was high, but more importantly he communicated with me in a very clear, unrushed and constructive manner. Previous instructors took my mistakes as a chance to unleash colourful vocabularies at me, whereas Keith always made me feel like it was an opportunity to learn - this reduced my stress and improved my performance.

I'm also certain that driving Keith's clean and well maintained Volvo FL6 contributed to my success. The precise gearbox took much of the worry of the gear-change exercise away.

In the end, Keith took me from having failed twice at another school, to passing my 'C' test in just two days including the test, and (a month later) my "C+E" test took just another three days of training including the test.

Since gaining my C and C+E I have taken one rigid and two artic driving assessments for agency driving work. All have been passed with only minor comments (itself a testament to Keith), and I now drive artics on a regular basis for Sainsburys.
